The gameplay in Heroes of the Storm is refined, team fights are a delight and everything just flows together perfectly. They simply felt too big for the combat space you had but after a game or two, everything becomes very comfortable. Heroes of the Storm doesn’t have to worry about being confused with something else.Īt first it was strange to see how beefy some of the characters were.

Illidan and Anub’arak alongside Nova and Tyrael, now that’s a sight to see. The thing you’ll lose yourself in, especially if you’re a Blizzard fan, is seeing all the iconic characters, protagonists and antagonists, fighting together in one excellently designed game. Moreover, since HotS is the kind of game you generally put a couple of hours in each day, you’ll have access to most of the available content in a short period of time. There are enough things in the game that are unpleasant, like having to pay cash for some heroes or skins and so on, but the in-game currency isn't all that hard to obtain. Now, HotS is far from perfect, for example, I just can’t handle seeing Raynor on a horse mount. The minimum delivery time for a title seems to be slightly over ten years, but it’s always worth the wait. Heroes of the Storm has been in the making for a long time, but that’s never a surprise when it comes to a Blizzard game. Blizzard takes its time with games for a good reason Nonetheless, deep down, you all know it’s a wonderful game. I admit, the following is from a Blizzard fan who has extensively played every single game they have released so my take on HotS might be a bit biased. There are two kinds of people: those who have anxiously waited for Heroes of the Storm to come to life and those who have not played a single Blizzard game to fall hopelessly in love with it, then play all of them, and then wait for Heroes of the Storm to come to life.
